Uncle Rick Ross and Ol' man Jeezy fought lastnight at the just concluded BET hip hop awards. This was reported by MTV News stating that not only did Rick Ross get into it with Jeezy, but other members of Maybach Music Group tussled with members of 50 Cent's G-Unit. Rick Ross and Young Jeezy haven't had a good relationship in the past, but over the recent years have buried their beef until last night when both camp had to cross path again backstage at the awards.The fight later escalated to the parking lot, where gunshots were fired, prompting BET to shut down the awards ceremony momentarily. The Atlanta police had to come calm the area and they released the statement saying;
"Shortly after 7:15 pm Saturday, a fight broke out in the parking lot at the Atlanta Civic Center (where the BET Awards were being taped) between two groups. Atlanta Police Department officers on scene responded to break up the fight and used OC spray in the process. Individuals fled the scene. There were no arrests or reports of serious injuries. Reports of shots fired appear to be untrue."Hip hop was never about violence but poetry and peace.
