The Grammy winner has finalized her divorce from her husband of 12 years, Keri Lewis, a rep for Braxton confirmed Wednesday. The pair separated in 2009. “The couple has had an amicable split and will still both be actively involved in raising their two sons, 11-year-old Denim and 10-year-old Diezel,” the rep said in a statement obtained by E! News.
Braxton married Lewis in April 2001 after getting to know him when his group Mint Condition opened for her on tour. When they parted ways in November 2009, they gave no explanation for the split and did not say whether either had filed for divorce.
