A source confirms to E! News exclusively that the Scandal star is dating San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. His manager Mark Holden, of Zero Gravity Management, is not able to confirm or deny the relationship. Meanwhile, Washington's rep tells E! News that "we don't comment on our client's personal life."Over the years, the 36-year-old actress has kept her private life, well, private following her 2007 breakup with fiancé David Moscow, the actor who played the young Tom Hanks in Big.
As for Asomugha, the 31-year-old NFL star played with the Oakland Raiders for eight seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for two before signing with the 49ers in April. He, too, has a little acting experience under his helmet belt, having appeared on The Game, Friday Night Lights and Leverage.
Both Washington and Asomugha are dedicated activists and philanthropists and they are involved with the William J. Clinton Foundation. Speaking of Clinton, Washington had nothing but praise for the former commander in chief's wife, Hillary Clinton, when E! News caught up with the Django Unchained star at last month's CFDA Fashion Awards in New York.
