Rihanna Kicked Out of Abu Dhabi Mosque For Instagramming...
One of Instagram’s biggest sharers, Rihanna, posted a slue of pics to her IG account of an impromptu photo shoot in front of an Abu Dhabi mosque. The photos were shot by photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold. Although sporting the required attire covering her and her lady bits from hair to toe, some fans saw the showy shoot (one photo, pictured above, was posted with the caption “B*itch stole my look”) in front of the place of worship disrespectful. Mosque officials eventually asked Rih Rih to leave the mosque for taking “pictures that do not conform with the conditions and regulations put in place,” they said in a released statement condemning the singer’s photo shoot.
Whether it was disrespectful or not is debatable, and fans have definitely been going back and forth about it. But the other argument is her lack of restraint and judgement from a compulsion to over-share her life. Maybe if Rihanna had snapped a curt photo or two to chronicle the memory, share with fans, and move on to entering the actual mosque (she never went in), the response might not have been so severe. Or if she’d even coordinated taking the photos with mosque officials for permission, they might have complied at the prospect of enticing her followers to one day visit the Abu Dhabi mosque. But the self-imposed, 11 photo event outside the place of worship before even entering the mosque made the singer seem too preoccupied with her celebrity than absorbing the culture.

Spider Bite Causes Man To Almost Lose His Leg.
I'm officially scared of spiders #justsaying...An Essex decorator nearly lost his leg after being bitten by a false widow spider. Ricki Whitmore encountered a nest of the venomous arachnids while working at a school. He told The Daily Star: "They were quite big, a purplish brown colour with strange markings on their backs. I'd never seen anything like it. It was quite creepy. I'd never kill a spider but I needed access to the corner so I just swept them away." The spiders are related to the black widow, but do not have the distinctive red spot on their backs. They make similar "tangle" webs, which are full of eggs, making it likely for many spiders to be in the same small area.
Whitmore was bitten on the leg but didn't go to seek medical help until a day later. Shortly after being prescribed antibiotics, the 39-year-old was rushed to hospital where surgeons found so much poison in his system he faced amputation of his leg. Thankfully the limb has been saved - though Whitmore is unable to work and is staying with family members to avoid distressing his children. Each day he is visited by a nurse who cleans and dresses his wounds and six months of physiotherapy are on the cards before he is expected to walk again.
Mass Evacuations In India Over Impending "Super Cyclone" Blast.
Nearly 600,000 people have fled to storm shelters after Indian authorities issued a red alert and warned of major damage when one of the largest cyclones the country has ever seen bore down on its east coast Saturday. Officials canceled holy day celebrations and stockpiled emergency supplies in coastal Orissa and Andhra Pradesh states, with forecasters saying Cyclone Phailin, is expected to affect 12 million people. Fears have been sparked after a deadly super-cyclone in 1999 killed more than 10,000 people in Orissa. "This is one of the largest evacuations undertaken in India," said Shashidhar Reddy, vice chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority, who estimated that more than 440,000 people had been evacuated. But the size of the storm made extensive damage to property more likely, he told Reuters news agency. "Our priority is to minimise loss of life." CONTINUE

Bela's Corner: When Out On A Date With Your Spouse, Who Is To Pay For Dinner?
Hello y'all, I'm back again with my questions...When it comes to dating, men are still expected to pick up the check even in 2013. Well, this question led to a serious debate as to who is to pay when a guy take a girl out. Some guys insisted that a girl should pay for at least 2 date nights out of 5. Personally, I think it's absurd to expect a girl to pay for dinner. If she offers to pay, that's different, but if you are expecting her to pay for dinner, then you are less than a man *simple*. And it's usually the broke guys that expect a girl to pay for dinner *BME*. What do y'all think? Should a girl be expected to pay for dinner on a date? Continue to see the research on this topic....

Ibori's Case: UK Court Orders A Retrial Based On Lack Of Enough Evidence...
You can say what you want o but i have sha forgiven my ex-governor...Yesterday, a retrial was ordered at a United Kingdom court based on the assets confiscation case against former Governor James Ibori of Delta State to enable the prosecution gather enough evidence. The London Metropolitan Police which is prosecuting the former governor had admitted in open court on the last day of the hearing that they lacked enough evidence to support allegations of fraud, corruption and money laundering against Ibori. The trial judge, Mr Anthony Pitts, therefore granted the Crown Prosecution’s request and adjourned for a retrial after both the prosecution and defence have made their final submissions in the hearing which was supposed to end yesterday. Reacting to Judge Anthony Pitts’ judgment, James Ibori said “after eight years of criminal investigations, five adjournments and over 50 trips to Nigeria, the prosecution failed to provide any tangible evidence to support their claim that I defrauded Delta State. UKBA:Government Ends Free NHS Services To Migrants And Foreign Students...
As part of the ways to reduce the influx of migrants into the UK, the border agency is putting up new policys that ensures that foreigners will have to prove that they are entitled to be in the country before they are given access to GPs and hospitals, while foreign students will have to make a “contribution”of up to £200 to the health service. The measure will form the centrepiece of tough new legislation designed to reduce numbers entering the country and put pressure on illegal immigrants to leave. A senior government source said it was an attempt to target “people who have no right to be here”. Restricting access to the NHS is highly contentious politically. GPs will be told they have to check that people seeking to register with them are here legally and issue only time-limited “NHS numbers” — the proof of entitlement to free care — to those who do not have a permanent right to be in the country.
