A young Indian woman was beaten to death by members of her own family and her boyfriend beheaded in an horrific honour killing after they were lured back to their village thinking were going to be allowed to marry. Nidhi Barak, 20, a fine arts student, and Dharmender Barak, 23, who was studying at technical college, were killed last night as locals in Gharnavati village in the Indian state of Haryana watched on. The pair had eloped to nearby Delhi on Tuesday because their families did not approve of their relationship.But they had been lured back with promises that they would not be harmed and would finally be allowed to marry. Miss Barak's parents and uncle have been arrested and police are now trying to trace her brother and other family members who disappeared missing since the crime. A Nigerian Grad Student Proves Gay Marriage Is Wrong Using A Magnet...

A scientist in Nigeria has come up with an interesting theory that gay marriage is wrong via an experiment using magnets and other methods. Chibuihem Amalaha, a graduate student of chemical engineering at the University of Lagos, claims that same-sex unions can be disproved scientifically and has the academic support of his university. Nigerian newspaper The Daily Live profiled Amalaha, who has written and published various articles as a science reporter. Along with puffing his chest over his various achievements in science, Amalaha revealed his head-turning revelation that gay marriage is wrong and how his multilayer research proves as such.

A bar magnet is a horizontal magnet that has the North Pole and the South Pole and when you bring two bar magnets and you bring the North Pole together you find that the two North Poles will not attract. They will repel, that is, they will push away themselves showing that a man should not attract a man. If you bring two South Poles together you find that the two South Poles will not attract indicating that same sex marriage should not hold. A female should not attract a female as South Pole of a magnet does not attract the South Pole of a magnet. Things I Have Learnt And Believe To Be True...

When I got the email from one of my mentors, I knew  I was going to share it but I was contemplating sharing his or mine. Anyway, it would be more significant to share the things that I have learnt and know to be true rather than share, although there are similarities between both. Well, here it goes;

1. Yes, God is real.

2.  Be the real you and "Never" wish to be somebody else.

3. Don't let people change who you are just be who you are with someone else..

4. A mother's love is stronger than distance, more powerful than time and can transcend the grave.

5. Heartbreak can make you hard! But don't let it make you bitter

6.  Don't try to be seen, God may be hiding you on purpose.

Earlier this year, I was approached to do some media consultancy in Nigeria. I’d just left the BBC after 18 years, to set up my own business, so this seemed a great opportunity. I spoke to a number of friends and former colleagues. I’d heard many stories about Nigeria, seen the reports on Boko Haram and had my own impressions of sub Saharan Africa.
The advice fell into two camps:
a) Don’t go, you’ll get kidnapped or catch malaria. Either way, you’re going to die
